1066 game reflections

Game #1
In this game we either played as William the Duke of Normandy or as Harold Godwinson king of England. In this game I enjoyed being Harold because I find it more challenging than being William. I learned about the strategies the 2 contenders might have used to fight and that the job of a king is over whelmed with risks which mostly are for their people. At the first time I played as Harold I got shot in the eye and died then a few times later I won playing Harold so I switched characters. So I know was William I died like seven or ten times while playing William but then once I won but I didn’t remembered the steps and choices I made to win.

Game #2
On this game we had to play by the story mode, which I never finished. We had an army and they choose for us which character we are. On the first time I randomly played and I lost so I started again, which in that case was a long game and I also lost. I didn’t really enjoy this game as much because it took too long and I think there are too many buttons, commands etc. What I learned from this game is the position you should place your army and how you can attack.

What is the relationship between decisions and consequences?

The relationship between decisions and consequences is that they come together as a pair. Every time a decision is made at least one consequence comes along with it. For example when Shmuel was suppose to be polishing glasses he decided to eat the food that Bruno gave him. The consequence was that L.Kotler saw Shmuel eating so he ask Bruno if he actually gave the food to Shmuel which Bruno known to be true but chooses to deny that. The consequence of this decision is that Bruno- by saying that seems to mean that he have choosen to had also denied the friendship between him and Shmuel which for Shmuel is maybe the worst thing Bruno his only friend could do to him.

What did you think was going to happen? What clues in the text led you to believe this?
Answer: I thought that whoever gets the on with the black dot on it will leave the village, so that when time goes on the village doesn't get over populated. The clues that led me to this was that the color black doesn't sound very pleasent so it must be something bad. Also at the end of page 301 Tessie who had the black dot on her paper opened it last so everyone had the attention on her.
How did you feel when the end of the story was not given to you?
Answer: I was very curious about what was going to be inside the mysterious paper and wanted to open it. I think that everyone couldn't wait to open the piece of paper. I try to guess the ending by following the given clues but their wasn't any clues that led to the real answer.
What would you call this story? Why?
I would maybe call it "The Black Lottery" or something similar to kind of emphazie the badness of the lottery. I would name it like that because at first everyone seemed to be happy about the lottery but it is actually bad.
How did you feel when you read the end of the story? Explain.
The end of the story to me was very surprising because it turned out very bad when the first of the first clues were given that it should sound and be good.
Why did the author leave these voids in the story?
I think the author left these voids in the story to make the story more interesting. It also makes people think deeper into the story to beable to get more clues about the ending.

Where the Hell is Matt? Connections

I think what Matt have done is really pleasing. I think that all the people out there that met Matt must really felt like he wasn't just a stranger but more connected in a way. He is also comunicating alot about how differences does not matters.

I choose this image because no matter how different the colors are they are still colors. Just like us we are all humans no matter what diffrences we ever have.

Compliment Guys

I think that the compliment guys are really cool because it makes people who are passing by happy and they feel more welcomed to the contry if they are tourists. I think lots of people should like and expand this idea. This is another big step to make our world have peace.

My Name

Ni, a really simple name. As a second child a name meaning the number two in Japanese fits me.
By it’s simplness it made me like my name. Not a popular name so you won’t mix me up with anyone else. It’s unique! I would say my name is marvelous if you really come to think about it. Just plain simple “Ni” it sounds…cool…cool to me. Also you can’t mess up my nickname.
My full name is Nichapat but some people say, “nic-ca-pat” instead and it’s really disturbing. I don’t know if they do that because my name is spelled with a c or if they just want to make fun of me or if they just can’t pronounce it.
Nichapat means innocent, good, and nice. The way I say my name is so fluent like the beat of a butterfly’s wing, but how my friends say it is so harsh, unsteady, and not welcoming, like a plat form floating in the middle of he sea.
Right now I prefer Ni because people say it more correctly and it is short. Still someday I would grow to like my name and make people say it properly.

I choose the picture because I think it represents my name well. The outside might not seem nice but the inside is just like every one else.
